Roboto forums and the future

Hi Guys

This is my first post here, hi to you all. Firsly, I'm happily married, but I can't help being facinated at the thought of having a female bot walking around the house. The funny thing is ys men don't want much out of life with partners, other than to be appreciated, and maybe loooked after a bit. It would also be nice to be able to go out whenever you want, but without the guilt or silent treatment when you get home. ...but of course, you still also want the company. See where I'm going with this?

Anyway, with all the recent advancements in technology, I would have thought there would be many other forums and projects of this nature going on, yet when I search for things like "robot girlfriend" or things of that nature, you just get stuff about silly phone aps, or s%x dolls or whatever. Are there any cool forums or communities I'm missing? Well, of course there is this one :-) But again I'm amazed this seems to be the only project in the limelight.

Maybe I've been watching too many sci fi movies, but surely having Rachels from Bladerunner walking around can't be THAT far into the future???
