Hi, I saw Aiko at her public appearance in November 2009 and met Trung.

The forum is not dead. It's just not very active.

I don't know what the status of the legs are. When I talked to Trung at the public appearance he had ordered all the motors and was waiting for them to arrive.

The project has not been cancelled. But Trung is in med school so he doesn't have much time to work on Aiko.

It looks nice in the air but the motor skills don't look fine enough to be suited for biped-walking. And I guess it's damn expensive... For now it looks better to stick with motors and servos -> price + simplicity.

i think if u want to a stable walk u want to have a good and strong motors ,digital servos not mini because mini servos are week etc...(you know better than me)

of the movable leg Smile

Definitely not with those servos...it's just a toy suited for some small robot
