Re: aiko V2
Hi, I saw Aiko at her public appearance in November 2009 and met Trung.
The forum is not dead. It's just not very active.

Re: aiko V2
I don't know what the status of the legs are. When I talked to Trung at the public appearance he had ordered all the motors and was waiting for them to arrive.
The project has not been cancelled. But Trung is in med school so he doesn't have much time to work on Aiko.

Re: aiko V2
It looks nice in the air but the motor skills don't look fine enough to be suited for biped-walking. And I guess it's damn expensive... For now it looks better to stick with motors and servos -> price + simplicity.spring wrote:and here a video about this leg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A6BxMICmvc4

Re: aiko V2
i think if u want to a stable walk u want to have a good and strong motors ,digital servos not mini because mini servos are week etc...(you know better than me)
so for those stuff have you bought some of them ,have you started building the leg just tell us what is the status
of the movable leg
