Scientists have created the first 'humanoid' robot that can mimic the facial expressions and lip movements of a human being.

Another robotic facial design.
I found an old Popular Science magazine from 2003 and though about why I bought it and the name David Hanson came up to me.
A quick page and there it was. He was building a robot head that could mimic and recognize facial expression, Both he and the head where inseparable every where he went the head came with him people thought how weird it where. But to make a long story short here is a link.

It was a great article back then and still is made me realize how fast time go's and slow our expectations.
