Re: Robots that can FALL IN LOVE
interesting concept.
*ahem*
I'm pretty sure most everyone who reads that will immediately know one use of that tech that we will most likely see soon.
end speculation
but, this will probably provide a lot of research and insight into how the emotion 'love' works, or maybe even answer the philosophical question of what is love, something that most everyone will define differently.

Re: Robots that can FALL IN LOVE
I like the philosophycal aproach:
If love is the deepiest manifestation of the Soul, so robots who can love have souls?
Or
If love is a manifestation of body's hormones and it proves that a creature is alive, are robots who can love alive?

They look exactly like infants and toddlers which I suppose one could mechanize.
The only trouble is most expecting mothers want them realistic with genitals.
I'm not so sure what the law says about that.

Yes, I know reborns.
My sister have one.
And I know some people who have these surrogate babies too.
I've never heard of one of these "mothers" that they would want realistic genitals...
As far as I know, their main objectives are realistic faces, hand, feet.
Reborns are made by demand and as far as I know they are 100% asked by women or couples as surrogate children.
Some of these women have some kind of trauma about loosing for death their own kids or couples that want the experience of having a kid before really have one.
As far as I know I never seen an unhealth situation about it. But I am not the owner of truth ...
