Not sure if it's ever been mentioned before, or if it's even been tried, or even possible but I'd rather make you aware of it than not. There's everything from game devices, games, books, tv shows etc that are being funding. I'm not really aware of the inner workings of the site, but I think you could draw a lot of attention and support. It'd be one of the most interesting and worthy causes to ever appear on the site.

Re: So, what about Kickstarter?
Indiegogo might be a possible alternative. They claim to be an international crowdsourcing place.
Re: So, what about Kickstarter?
I was also thinking about kickstarter as a possibility for funding aiko since I recently backed a few projects on there.
I have seen projects posted by non USA residents so maybe they opened it up to other countries since the last time you tried.
Right now there are bunch of projects from Canada.

If it is right, there are people from United Kingdom and Canada already using this service!
So, Le!
Maybe this is really one way to afford money!

Re: So, what about Kickstarter?
Here is the reasons why I can not join kickstarter.
The last time I check, I don't live in the US.
Just login yesterday again from kickstarter.
Eligibility requirements
you need to satisfy the requirements of Amazon Payments:

•You have a US address, US bank account, and US state-issued ID (driver’s license).
•You have a major US credit or debit card.
•You are 18 years of age or older

Hey Lee!
So nice to see that you´re still alive, boy!
Master course is killing you?
Don't know about you, but it's killing me! hehehe
Nice to know you´re already working on Aiko.
