u know how great this project is and how useful could such a robot be there are some risks
aiko will never turn rough but the bad part is that if lee managed to get his hands on such tech
later in the close future maybe some smart mad guy could create a robot and program it do massive destruction

the things is that so many companys like Honda and others already make small robots with a primary A.I. system...that i fear this thing is unavoidable.....but i think that if this dosent hapeend the world will surely find an other thing to destroy civilization if u need a break or want to find out more about what is going to happend to the world than look at this funny dude

hmm: Were you aware that devices called nuclear warheads exist? You worry about robots? Are you a very small child?

I'm assuming any robot designer would install a failsafe device to ensure people are not harmed by a malfunctioning robot?

And if a failsafe didn't work - and my robot was going nuts...then I'd just push it over onto it's back...like a cockroach...it can stay wriggling there until it the techie guy comes to fix it...

I wouldn't buy a companion robot that had the capacity to beat me in a physical fight.
I'd buy the model that will get stuck on it's back
