Wow try to let a speech recognition software interpret india's third most spoken language Surprised .
Most speech recognition available are pre-developed with inglish in mind meaning timing of consonants and such,

Maybe if U use open source software the timing frame the software uses can be adjusted to keep track
with the consonants particular for this language, also the support of your language type should be taken into account cause telugu isnt the daily ansi character set we know about, thats a challenge.

If you have any programming expirience or know someone with that you could setup a database which the program can use to reference each speech pattern not only to a given command but also the words.

Try sourceforge .net they have a wide range of open source software available.

If this does not work out post a message we help you out some more Very Happy .
