Re: Iron Man
if u want to make one at home it would be impossible ,but for military factories its not
maybe they have done one near to iron man but still classified

Re: Iron Man
It needs some time, but the DoD and DARPA have plans to make these things.spring wrote:ironman uses a hightec military stuff so it needs time
The first thing we need is a virtual screen that reacts directly to the user's brain.
They have this already for video games and airplane/space shuttle simulators.
Even for equipment such as a wheelchair, E-mail, a robotic arm for paraplegics, etc.
We know text to speech is a reality, but what about intelligent speech with personality, guess what, that's here too, in applications in the medical community, the travel industry, and many others (may include RFID chips).
Jet powered boots, they are in the making, but they can't get them just right (sounds like a coyote I know).
Power gloves, just prototype now, needs refinement.
Aerodynamic, waterproof, fire retardant armor with auto cooling unit and in impenetrable to bullets.
Yes and no.
It would have to be customize to each solder, wouldn't be able to fly, and would constrain lungs and ribcage.
However, better suits that have similar properties are being made, including a thinner, lighter, and more effective bullet proof shirt (more surface area).
The drawback is the shirt is easy for the wearer to tare, and once torn, it's worthless.
Undershirts and other suits can be fire retardant and water proof.
And helmets can be made to see the full spectrum.
The power glove might also use microwave technology in the future.

Re: Iron Man
as you explained it very well ,you must also put in your mind that those are classified information so we are not sure if they right or not .(i mean about the building progress )(but in physics they are possible as you explained )
when Bob lazar gone public we knew for sure that they are reverse engineering alien technology
i think that US military is far more advanced than we think

Re: Iron Man
I don't know how top secret it is when it's been leaked to TV stations, and publicized for funding in numerous magazines and online articles.spring wrote:as you explained it very well ,you must also put in your mind that those are classified information so we are not sure if they right or not .(i mean about the building progress )(but in physics they are possible as you explained )

Even the army's microwave gun wasn't secret for very long.
As for alien technology, come on, who didn't suspect that ever since the Roswell incident?

Re: Iron Man
the leaked information is nothing from the fact even if some information had leaked there is a huge of them not leaked .as you can see anyone who know about top secret things his way is to death
the military is not stupid to let you about their top secret work
for aliens ,its right that FEW people had known before bob lazar
but when bob lazar gone public he talked more about it and more people knew about it
for now , even after bob lazar ,if search in internet about anti gravity their will be no perfect information
also not every thing on TV or books is true , because some of them wright these things for more money

like this?
http://www.raytheon.com/newsroom/technology/rtn08_exoskeleton/
not exactly iron man, but it is a powered robotic exoskeleton.
it requires an external hydraulic pump for power, and is intended for loading and heavy lifting applications.
if you are interested in something like iron man, the DARPA program Exoskeletons for Human Performance Augmentation would be a good thing to look at.
and yes, the sarcos suit is in it as a prototype for future combat exoskeletons.
Super Solder
Actually it's a little more than that.and is intended for loading and heavy lifting applications.
That was the original purpose, but accidentally, it was found out that hypothetical war games could be more affective with the suit.
It can allow faster reaction times and flexibility in training exercises.
They are trying to make it run better ("run" as in a fast pace walk).

Alien technology?
I was being sarcastic about aliens.for aliens ,its right that FEW people had known before bob lazar
but when bob lazar gone public he talked more about it and more people knew about it
I think in the 11th Century or so, we may have rapidly progressed with European and Asian technology that 20th Century Americans wouldn't know about, but that doesn't make it alien.
Before then, we didn't know about gun powder, but does that make it from divine sources?
