Re: Sugestion for Aiko's legs
it's a cool (and probably useful) idea, but look how bulky those legs are. not really what you want for a robot that should look as human as possible, right? maybe when they can get a leg design that will work in a smaller spae, then it would be great.
thanks for sharing.

Thank you very much for aswering my post.
Yes, I agree with you: It's all a matter of miniaturization of the parts.

Re: Sugestion for Aiko's legs
however, apart from the extra joint, this may be much closer to ideal legs and gait for an android/yumeconGilda wrote:Thank you very much for aswering my post.

Re: Sugestion for Aiko's legs
oh!
I've forgot Petman!
I know it.
This one is a military project and they are going to release it this year.
The robot videos I've sent are part of a project that is reference to other robots ( including Petman)... I think that also Aldebaran's Romeo has some inspiration in that little guy.
We are going to have some emotions in bipedal robots word with Petman and also Romeo.
But we will only see it in Set/oct.

Interesting
It's a great world we live in when people can make things like these:
Assistive Technology | The Spinal Cord Injury Zone
I mean all articles.

I think PETMAN was used for research into walking as well as walking experiments for big dog. Or whatever the name of that robot is.Gilda wrote:oh!
