Mayan predictions (12/21/12)

The Mayan's had their own version of the bible, about God creating "cycles" of life after getting each generation wrong.
These cycles would also depend on new technologies of that age and how people used them.

On December 8 2011, a new bill will be passed without a vote or amendments about extending the Patriot Act, essentially loosing all of our (American citizens) freedoms!
The Obama administration will not be solving anything Bush did like we hoped.

He is also supporting the Combating Online Infringement and Counterfeit Act, which can literally destroy the Internet and commerce as we know it!

Several sex and violence laws in other countries will also be debating in the future.

Knowing that everyone has a missile pointed at everyone else, and it's likely various nuclear plants will have leaks from vandals and melt downs from Earthquakes, I think what will destroy the Earth is a heated WW3.

I guess there won't be an Artilect war afterall.

If what the mayans predicted will become true, the world will not end judging by what mayans said, it's a matter of perspective, there could be major changes though.

I was a little misinformed that day.
The date was pushed up to May.
After the extension passed, Obama signed it into law, making unreasonable search and seizure (without a warrant) for American citizens a perfectly acceptable practice for law enforcement, security agents, the military, and other branches of the government (wire tapping, Internet search sweeps, redirecting E-mail, and home invasion).

Even independent detectives with keyloggers would have gotten into the act had it not been for a line in the constitution that states: "You must have just cause and proper authorization for a search and seizure in these United States and society as a whole."
On September 28th, 2 clauses in the Patriot Act were ruled unconstitutional and invalid because of that line.

This coincides with the new airport scanners that are said to be less intrusive on the privacy rights of each passenger.
The scanners show a general outline (like the men's bathroom door) when someone goes through.
If something is detected, a box will appear in that general area and the outline will be red.
If nothing is to be found, the outline is green.
In either case, a green OK sign is lit, indicating that the scan has finished.
