What dou you think about Dynamic balance for Aiko?

it's a given that such robot needs it, without it she wouldn't be able even to stand.

I like how the robot jumps in the second video. Almost perfect.
Do these use some kind of genetic algorithm?

Aiko needs this kind of tech for standing/walking passively. It will have to be a sub-robot where aiko tells it when to walk etc.

Genetic algorithm requires painful training for the robot, not so much in the virtual environment :
