About computer capabilities (and other random comments)
Okay, first of all, wow, I can see that Aiko's creator must really love Chobits lolz
Second of all, since she is much like a persocom, will she function very much like a computer? I mean to see, storing data and processing infomration, say, listening to someone giving a command or just record anything she hears (kinda like Chii when she chose to memorize Hideki's phone number/address). I'm wondering how far we are from actually building such a persocom. And besides, I'm itching to see video game consoles and apple ipod music players with an actual USB cable like the persocoms, being able to just jack into a computer or TV and open "folders" with files for easier access of music transfer and whatnot.
Sorry for being a noob, but I was wondering, what if we just combine the iPhone, combine the PSP, and combine a desktop computer, and put that all into Aiko (sry if I'm being rude to Aiko and/or her creator) and see if we can call that a persocom prototype, because I feel as if...if we can combine all of those, we'd really get a persocom real soon. Altho I've been hearing and reading quite a handful of articles where it is predicted that we won't have any of those really cool advanced techy stuff until the year 2050 (more or less)
Side Comments:
I saw the video that showed Aiko singing her first song. I was a bit disappointed not being able to see an actual video of her singing. It's just a bunch of images put together and with a random song in the background that isn't sung by Aiko. I'm pretty sure the voice is Miku Hatsune (or some other name, that isn't the real name of the voice actor, but the voice actor's voice is used for Miku as a character) Miku Hatsune is a mascot of a Digital Voice Synthesizer/Vocal music editing program where users can use a synthesizer voice given to them. (Sry for the ramble)

First: Hello Drakke!
Second: Yes, after I made the suggestion, Vocaloid (Miku) I believe was used. And yes, it would be very cool to see a real Yumecom (that is what we are calling Aiko and her sisters now, not persocoms), but I give it at least 5 more years until we see something truly akin to persocoms due to the whole "personality" issue, as well as making a robot capable of actually standing and moving in ways a human would.

Hi
Aiko V2 will have a usb port under the wrist...
Can plug your cellphone etc....
For further upgrade, not sure what other new features I can do. But iPod seem like a good connection between Aiko v2 to transfer data.

You may want to look into what Balmung is doing with his "Persocom" project. You could do something similar with regards to your Yumecom project.
Hell, why you two haven't teamed up yet is beyond me

From what I have gathered reading through the posts that Mr. Troung has posted, that is a very personal project inwhich by partnering up with someone else who may have a similar but probably slightly different dream would result in Mr. Trung having to make compromises with the realization of said such dream. With that said, I dreams should never have to be a compromise. So said possibly partnership may be impractical for him.
