I found this female version of Asimo, very interesting.

I was thinking that was faked.
If anyone manage to recreate that, smaller chassis, slimmer armor, little taller. You may just have completed Aiko's skinless body. Similar to .. http://gameswalls.com/phantasy-star-online/racaseal-an-android-ranger/1280x960

Aiko V2 will have simple walking skill, and will be very slow.
I hope that help.
p.s. human knee can only do flex and extension.
The rotation of you leg is done by your femor (thigh), and tibial, and fibular.
I am going to cut corner by having it rotate at the femor......and ignore the tibial and fibular rotate.
